Teaching in China with IVY
Our priority at Ivy International Education is to connect our teachers with great schools and teachers from U.S. The process of finding a good ESL teaching job abroad can be a daunting task. Likewise, schools in need of ESL teachers often have difficulty acquiring a teacher that matches their needs. This is where we at Ivy International Education come in. We work hard to put together a great match.
There are plenty of available ESL teaching positions abroad, but it can be difficult to find one which matches your wants and needs. Ivy International Education is here to help. We research our schools to ensure our teachers know as much as possible about their school and the contract they will be signing. We want you to feel confident moving overseas knowing what your job will be like.
Teaching English abroad can be a life changing experience! You may discover that you learn as much from your students as they learn from you. It is not uncommon to build friendships that last a lifetime. As a bonus, you are paid well to travel to and live in China!
What does it take to be a great ESL teacher? We are looking for caring and imaginative people. If you would like to make a difference in people’s lives, want to explore new lands and cultures, then we would like to work with you. Contact us at lihua@ivyintedu.com

- Education—your degree and how it can be of best use
- Teaching experience
- Teacher personality—outgoing, good attitude, likes working with people
- Preferred teaching location—smaller city vs big city
